Need crop or many files instead?

Crop a region with Image Cropper, shrink file size with Image Compressor, or resize up to 20 files with Batch Image Resizer.

This page stretches one image to the typed size. It does not apply social-media crop presets or batch folders.

Quick answers for Image Resizer

Can I resize multiple images at once?
No. This tool resizes one image at a time. Use the Batch Image Resizer when you need to process several files together.
What format does the resized image use?
Auto keeps JPEG, PNG, or WebP source files in the same format when the browser encoder supports it. You can also choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP explicitly. Other browser-decodable image inputs default to PNG with a note before export.
Will resizing always make the file smaller?
No. Quality is not a size reduction percent. JPEG and WebP exports start at your maximum quality, then lower quality only if the actual resized file is not smaller. PNG is lossless, so use WebP or JPEG when file size matters. Prefer Image Compressor when you mainly want fewer bytes.
Why does it require whole-pixel dimensions?
Canvas exports have integer pixel sizes, so the tool rejects fractional, zero, and non-finite dimensions before export instead of producing a file whose name does not match its actual size.
What size limits apply?
Output dimensions must be no more than 8192 pixels on either side and no more than 40 megapixels total. Those limits avoid huge browser canvas allocations that can fail or freeze the page.
Does my image leave my device?
No. Resize runs in a canvas in your browser. For cutting a region instead of scaling the whole image, use Image Cropper.
