What preset ratios are available?
Square 1:1, 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, Portrait 2:3, and Passport 35mm. Every crop stays locked to the selected ratio - there is no freeform unlocked mode.
How do I select the exact area to crop?
Pick a ratio preset, then drag on the image to position and size the crop while keeping that aspect ratio. A semi-transparent overlay shows the selection before you crop.
What happens after I crop?
The selected region is drawn onto a new canvas at its original resolution and offered as a separate PNG download, leaving your original image untouched.
Does my image leave the browser?
No. Cropping runs in a canvas locally. For scaling the whole image instead of cutting a region, use Image Resizer.
